As you pray daily for China, think of the great task to which you are committing yourself. Pray that China will continue to waken spiritually and that many dark places will joyfully receive the good news of Jesus Christ.

May 2024 Prayer Points

“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”(Matthew 9:38 ESV)

1 TAIWAN. May the church in Taiwan come together for a common cause in the Great Commission, unified in the Revelation 7:9 (ESV) vision of “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

2 TAIWAN. Praise God for Taiwan missionaries who have already returned home from a 2-year term and are now working in local churches that are without a pastor. Pray that they will help instill a heart for missions in these small churches.

3 NEXT GENERATION. As mature church leaders in Taiwan near retirement, the next generation lacks those trained and ready to step up and lead. Ask God to call young people to enroll in 1-2-3 Next Generation programs to spend two years growing and maturing as church leaders for His glory.

4 LINGTOU BAPTIST RETREAT CENTER. Lingtou, a Baptist retreat center, is in significant need of revitalization after years of neglect and decline. Ask the Lord to provide the necessary resources to remodel the space so that it can continue being used for His kingdom purposes.

5 TAIWAN. Several Taiwanese missionaries attended Taiwan’s 2023 Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) annual meeting. What a blessing it was to see the commitment from the WMU to support them in giving and in praying. Pray that God will continue blessing the WMU and this collaboration.
